The Edgewater area of Port Charlotte is comprised of mainly older, mostly waterfront homes with some newer homes sprinkled in. Waterfront properties have docks along with good access to Charlotte Harbor for power boats and sailing vessels. Unlike other communities in the area, such as Grassy Point, there are no deed restrictions or homeowners associations in this community. Home prices here are very reasonably priced considering the easy access to the harbor.
